Students who are citizens of a Member State of the European Union and EFTA Member States (Iceland, Norway, Switzerland and Liechtenstein) are entitled to benefits in kind under the rules applicable to a Polish insured person. To obtain a free European Health Insurance Card (EHIC), you have to contact the health insurance institution where you are insured and which is therefore responsible for assuming your healthcare costs.
